Lisa Lenherr

Lisa Lenherr joined Tiemstra Law Group, PC in December 2008. She focuses her practice on business insolvency issues, representing debtors, asset-purchasers, title companies, landlords, lenders (commercial and private), and other creditors and parties in all aspects of Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 business bankruptcy matters, including appeals.

Her experience includes commercial real property and equipment leasing issues in the insolvency context; representation of creditors and debtors with requests for post-petition use of cash collateral; contested plan confirmation issues; secured and unsecured debt restructuring; relief from stay, claim, preference, and fraudulent transfer litigation; appeals; motions to convert; and single asset real estate (SARE) issues. Ms. Lenherr also has experience representing creditors in Chapter 13 cases, and debtors and creditors as parties to non-dischargeability litigation.

Ms. Lenherr graduated from Sidwell Friends School, in Washington D.C. (1997); studied at School Year Abroad in Rennes, France (1995-1996); received a B.A. in Philosophy from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon (2000); and a J.D., cum laude, from Lewis & Clark Law School (2008). During law school, Ms. Lenherr served both as a Member (2006-2007) and as an Associate Editor (2007-2008) of Lewis & Clark’s Animal Law Review, was a Dean’s Merit Scholarship Recipient (2007-2008), was the recipient of the Outstanding Client Advocacy Award (2008), and graduated in the top 10% of her class. Before joining Tiemstra Law Group, PC, Ms. Lenherr was an extern for the Honorable Robert E. Jones, United States District Court, District of Oregon, and she clerked for the Oregon Department of Justice, Antitrust Unit.
